I'll have to look into that. Enjoyed having a box turtle once but as the store had got it used to wrong foods I had to give it to a herpetology specialist so it wouldn't become malnourished or starve itself. This was a long time ago, though, tell us more about your geckos.

leopard gecos are cool! They are fast though, so kind of hard to catch.

I will be posting more about leopard geckos, we will have a leopard gecko lounge once a week, or when I feel like having one. I hope to get subscribers this time! :p smiley

I think Leppard Geckos are way to small, and it seems to me the smaller the animal the easier they are killed by handling.

One problem with smaller reptiles and amphibians is, as some have said, they're hard to catch. A land or semiaquatic turtle, like a box turtle for example, is slow enough that they're manageable. Tell us, though, how you address handling and the like?

Well, it's not hard to handle them. Just pick them up from the middle of them. make sure all 4 feet are touching something, or they won't feel safe. the only time they struggle is if all four feet arn't touching the ground, or whatever they are sitting on. once you get them tamed, they actually enjoy being handled. some even enjoy being hand fed. I am very expereienced with leopard geckos. sorry for the long reply, just have had personal things going on. I will try to post more though. keep asking questions. and I'll check back often. if you are really interested, feel free to join my Reptiles group on klango. theirs not much their, but we are working on it. I have 3 admins. who are helping me run the group. because I can't run it alone. :p smiles. Happy First of december! Everyone.
